At Mad House Goat Soapery, every product is handmade in small batches and packed with care. Once your order leaves our hands, it’s officially on its own little adventure through the postal system.

We do everything we can to make sure it arrives safely—but we can’t control shipping carriers, weather, or porch temperatures.

📦 Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 3–5 business days.

During busy seasons or restocks, processing may take a little longer—but we’re usually faster than expected because chaos is our natural habitat.

🚚 Shipping Time

Shipping times vary based on carrier and location, but most U.S. orders arrive within 2–7 business days after shipping.

Once your package leaves our studio, it is in the hands of the carrier, not us.

🌞 Warm Weather Shipping

Some of our products—especially whipped tallow butters, balms, lip balm, and oil-rich skincare—can soften or melt when exposed to heat during transit or delivery.

This is completely normal and does not affect the safety or quality of your product.

If your product arrives:

  • Soft

  • Partially melted

  • Or looking a little “relaxed”

It is still fully usable and just needs a quick cool-down if you prefer a firmer texture.

👉 Simply place it in a cool room or refrigerator for 1–2 hours and it will reset.

We do not use synthetic stabilizers, wax-heavy fillers, or plasticizing agents to force texture—so real ingredients may respond to heat.

🧊 Summer Shipping Protection

During warmer months or hot climates, we recommend adding our Summer Shipping Protection Pack at checkout.

This includes a cold gel pack to help buffer heat during transit.

It does not freeze your product—it simply helps reduce melting and texture changes while your order is on the move.

🏡 Porch Delivery Disclaimer

We are not responsible for packages left in heat, sun, or cold after delivery.

If possible, please retrieve your package promptly after delivery confirmation.

📬 Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages

Once a package is marked as delivered by the carrier, we are not responsible for loss or theft.

If your package is delayed or missing, we recommend contacting the carrier directly for the fastest resolution. We are happy to help point you in the right direction if needed.
